Yoga Postures & Health Benefits
The practice of the Yoga postures must include the use of 4 rules
All of these rules practiced in each yoga posture will help decrease stress levels and allow the body's natural flow to regenerate.
Practicing yoga is not about achieving the best posture. Doing yoga is about discovering the benefits of the practice through the experience of working to break the limits that the body develops over time.
- Restores the health of the body
- Increase the capacity of attention
- Reduces stress levels,
Yoga should be practiced trying to increase the level of relaxation of the body, having the attention and breathing focused on releasing tensions and increasing the level of oxygen to further aid in total relaxation: emotional and physical.
To improve the body's ability to stretch and relax, it is key to pay attention to your breathing and emotions as well and not just the movement of the body.
FACT IS: The practice of Yoga helps to improve your quality of life.
YOU CAN PRACTICE YOGA ANYTIME AND ANYWHERE.
YOGA IS THE PRACTICE OF RECONNECTING WITH YOUR BODY HOLISTICALLY.
Of course we can all do yoga from home, but coming together to do yoga is a way to commit to developing discipline with your health, again, not only physically but emotionally as well. The benefit of this commitment is seen in the results you achieve, energy, health, improved mood, insomnia, headaches, constipation, .... everything reorganizes to what it should be, when we pay attention to it: This is what I call an Organized Healing Process.
Geometric Yoga is a Yoga Therapy class based on Hatha Yoga which is the original Yoga for Self-Healing.
During the class we explain the benefits of each posture. Talking about the benefits while practicing yoga increases awareness of the body's processes and makes it easier to go deeper and more intentional in seeking the benefits when our body or our situation at the moment requires it.
What WE ALL HAVE IN COMMON is that EACH OF US,
we have our own set of limitations.
DOESN'T MATTER if you are a beginner or a master yoga teacher:
I invite you to experience my classes that welcomes all levels.
